Remembering Logged-in Users with Cookies

If you choose, our website can automatically ask your browser to remember your username and password, by setting a 'cookie'. This is convenient for you because, if you're the only person who uses your computer, you won't have to keep entering your username and password.

It would be a bad idea to choose this option if you're using a shared computer because any subsequent user of this machine would be able to masquerade as you on this site.

You can erase your cookie by clicking 'Log out', at any time.

To check whether your computer allows the use of cookies:

  • Internet Explorer: choose 'Tools, Internet Options...', click the 'Security' tab, click 'Custom Level...' and check that 'Allow cookies' is Enabled.
  • Netscape: choose 'Edit, Preferences...', click 'Advanced' and click the 'Accept all cookies' option or 'Accept cookies that get sent back to the origniating server'.
